Technical

The textured streetlamp globes are designed for commercial and residential post top applications and are available with fitter neck.

Materials

Acrylic:

Impact modified and UV resistant with continuous operating temperature up to 90°C and transmittance of 92%.
Unsurpassed resistance to weathering and aging. Acrylic has an exceptional brilliance, which does not diminish even after prolonged use. Globes are made from a harder material which makes them more prone to damage or vandalism compared to polycarbonate.

Polycarbonate:

UV stabilized with continuous operating temperature of 100°C to 125°C and high impact resistance down to -40°C, transmittance of 88%.
Recommended for use with High Intensity Discharge lamps. Polycarbonate has a high impact resistance and durability, making it less likely to be damaged or vandalized. Over time, globes will become yellowed compared to acrylic.
